Absolutely PHENOMENAL! Sam and her team make every visit a delight. The roast is AMAZING, the Apple Crumble Pudding and custard was DELICIOUS, the drinks are exquisite, and the entertainment is lively! We’ve been back twice now, and went for Easter lunch and we’ll be back again for SURE!
We waited in line about 20 minutes to order. The fish and chips needed some salt and was a tad greasy for our liking. The Thai prawns were very good and the service was friendly. We loved the open air building on a beautiful day listening to music in the square.
After struggling to find a dog friendly pub serving food midday, we were warmly welcomed and sat on a nice quiet table away from the bar. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating! The chef even came out and the service was so friendly and personal. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The Texan smash burger and chocolate fudge cake were excellent and well priced. The dogs had many treats brought out from the kitchen staff and the whole experience was so enjoyable and warming. Thank you to Sam, Daisy and Matt.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, cheerful, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavor and beautifully presented. We asked our server for recommendations for both vegetarian and chicken dishes, and they gave us excellent suggestions that turned out to be just perfect. Everything we tried was spot on! What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was incredibly kind, joyful, and attentive. They made us feel right at home with their friendly attitude and really enhanced the whole dining experience. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly enjoys their job and goes the extra mile to make guests feel special. The happy, relaxed vibe of the restaurant, paired with the great food and outstanding service, made for a truly memorable visit. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a positive atmosphere!
After a long day of walk. It was nice to sit and have some cold drinks. The food was surprisingly good, especially the Chorizo croquettes and overall it was good value
One of our local and most favourite places to go. Whether it's for drinks or a meal, the service is 11/10. Our recent visit was for food and Sam and team couldn't have done anymore for us. The food was delicious as always and it's always great as they are super welcoming with our kids. They often offer pens and paper to keep them entertained. Free kids meal with adult meal was just the icing on the cake. See you again soon.
I can not say enough good things about The Elephant & Hind! We just got done hiking and wanted a sit down meal and found this place. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with a huge smile and were so friendly and kind. Sam and daisy were our servers and they were the BEST! So sweet and knowledgeable. The Sunday roast was divine! My cider was the best one I have ever had! It has inspired my husband and I to do a Sunday roast of our own every week in honor of how delicious this place was. 12/10 would recommend and go back again!
Nice atmosphere with lots of outside space to enjoy a warm spring day. Food was so-so but good selection of on draft ciders and beers.
